The announcement text:
We are a midsize healthcare agency based in Midtown Manhattan with a diverse population of employees. This is a full-time administrative position based in the Flatiron district in NYC. We are currently seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Business Development team. As an account coordinator you will be responsible for maintaining a close relationship with our clients and therapists. Positions perfect for a motivated self-starter, with excellent communication skills who can work independently in a fast pace environment.



Job Description:



• Communicate with existing clients regarding their current needs

• Keep a list of client needs, update and strategize with recruitment to ensure needs list are being met

• Update therapist schedules in database and communicate with Early Intervention managerial staff on therapist staffable hours

• Updating database with provider’s recent placement and clients contact information

• Ensure all therapist are providing hours according to client contract

• Ensure all paperwork is handed in by providers in a timely basis

• Ensure all clients’ balance is less then 60 days past due; anything over should be addressed with corresponding manger

• Update client contracts and ensure all contracts are current and signed by both parties

• Schedule interviews for therapists with the clients

• Collect all of the therapist vital paperwork and send to client for placement. Ex: Resume, updated medical, all applicable licenses, certificates and fingerprints.

• Call leads and schedule mtg. with clients and corresponding manager

• Responsible for sending out company information and letters of intent to leads

• Ensure that clients obtain our liability Insurance and have the client as additional Insured

• Assist with Special projects, Ex. Taking care of travel plans and booking accommodations for corresponding personnel

• Other duties may be assigned



Requirements:



• Knowledgeable with Microsoft office

• Bachelors Degree in business administration or related field

• Experience working in administration and in a fast paced environment

• Supervising therapists and ensuring therapist are working contracted hours

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
